Sonny Lubick Steakhouse started with a vision. Longtime Lubick friend Rick Callan had the idea for a Sonny Lubick Steakhouse here in Fort Collins for years, envisioning a place where people could enjoy great food, good company and a warm atmosphere. Callan pitched the thought to Lubick, but it wasn't until years later that the idea really began to take flight, when the iconic Nico's Catacombs closed its doors in March 2008 after serving downtown Fort Collins for 35 years.

Sonny Lubick Steakhouse in downtown Fort Collins is a great place to hold your private large group event. Our Coach's Room is a private dining room that can accommodate 35 guests comfortably for dinners, cocktail parties, or presentations.

New York Strip

Sonny Lubick was wonderful! We reserved a private room and it was amazing. The staff was so helpful and tentative to our groups needs, they were all so friendly and kind as well. The dinner was great I got the steak and my colleague got the salmon both looked and tasted amazing! The restaurant was clean and well decorated. Overall an amazing vibe and atmosphere for a upscale dinning experience. We will definitely be taking clients back soon.

If you don't try these, I feel bad for you! Definitely, definitely meant for sharing, these have everything: tenderest beef, spectacular sauce, crunch, creativity… Chef George has outdone himself once again!

My daughter and granddaughter told me to choose anyplace I wanted to eat anywhere, even Denver, to celebrate my 77th birthday. They gave me a couple of options that they knew of in Denver that were Michelin Star restaurants, but I didn't want the drive! I looked online and saw Sonny Lubick's in Fort Collins. I read reviews and decided I wanted to eat there. My kids weren't that excited about eating at a steakhouse in FC, but after we ate, their minds had changed! It was great having my granddaughter experience the class that your steakhouse emanates. Truly, nothing like it! The ambience is lovely, the service, impeccable, the food was incredible! Reminded me of a longtime favorite in Vegas, Hugo's Cellar that is no longer there. It's the perfect venue to celebrate any occasion and I look forward to going again!
